I admire his hand drawn animation. It is very imaginative and interesting to look at. His entire website really just needs to be explored. Its so interesting how the website is like a game that you travel through and look at the work with. His style and craftsman ship is very original and very inspiring. His style of drawing is almost scribble/scratch like, and creates a creepy vibe in all of his work. It is also interesting how he makes regular objects into "mutant like things".
Anthony Lucas:
This cut and paste film is brilliant and very net to just look at. The way the people are simply silhouettes is an awesome tie in to the entire story, and how everything is a mystery. The sound effects and voicing of the film also goes great with the story and really gives life to the entire thing. The idea of cut and paste really interests me and I would love to learn more about it.
Accordion by Michele Cournoyer:
this short animation is very interesting and provokes a brain like emotion. They way one thing morphs into the next is so interesting. It also is abstract but it tells a story if you really pay attention to it. The animation is also very simple but the sound really adds to it and makes the video what it really is.
Mindscape by Jacques Drouin:
This animation is very different but beautiful in its own way. It gave the feel of sketched and looked like it was all pencil. It also had no words or color, which was interestiong. The animation was so well done that it didnt need any words or color to potray its emotions and tell the story.
Madame Tutli-Putli:
I chose this puppetry animation mainly because it is just fun to watch. It has a very worn/ old look to it and the storyline over all is just good. It made me laugh, be interested, and be surprised all at the same time. The Dream like animation is very interesting to me and that is why I chose this one.
Sam: Aside from the "Dream like" animations, I also love the digital animations. This one have a good range of simplicity and detail. It also has a cute childish story line (because I am a child at heart). The use of lighting in this is also very well done and is something that I would love to learn more about.
I really just love everything about this video and I always have. But I have no idea who its by or what its called.
